In the Loretto Chapel, this wooden Sprial Starcase was constructed with only two attachments at the top and bottom! It’s a marvel design by an unknown carpenter who came and built it then disapeered without payment! It has no center or side support! The railings were added later!

About Me

Hello, my name is Nick McGlynn, I am 27 years old and a Virgo. I like to think I lead a pretty exciting life! I was born in New York City on the Upper East Side, but I live in Kensington Brooklyn now. I have also lived in Westport CT. and New Orleans LA.

I'm very outgoing and spontaneous, yet very neat and organized as well. I love to travel, and my most recent adventure was a motorcycle trip across country! I have a Honda Nighthawk and also a Vespa LX150 and I heart them both!

I currently do freelance event photography for various companies including my own site Random Night Out. My most recent full time job was at Gawker Media where I worked in their video department editing clips and managing interns. I also throw a monthly media event called Obliterati.

I went to college at Pratt in Brooklyn for "Digital Media & Design" and also for "Industrial Design" I'm good with my hands and love to build things and come up with wacky inventions. I also love to take photos at events and sometimes make silly videos!

I love gadgets, design and photography. I also have a bunch of blogs about different stuff. I think I'm on pretty much every internet social network, but I definitely get away from the computer often! I love to go camping, swimming, skiing and biking! I love outdoor activities and I'm always down to go on a road trip or random adventure! I have traveled all over the country and some places abroad and done it on a budget.

I mostly hang out in Manhattan and go to Media, Web 2.0, Sex, Burlesque, Tech and other similar parties and events. I love meeting new people and talking to strangers. I'm always up for hanging out, making new friends or doing something exciting!
